There are many things you can do to keep your neighborhood safe.
1) Keep an eye out for your neighbors.
2) Lock doors and windows, even if you will just be away for a few moments. It takes a thief just seconds to take what you worked many hours to earn.
3) Alert police to suspicious activity. Do NOT place yourself in harm’s way by “investigating” on your own.
4) Keep a porch light on night. Use a timer system if you will be away for an extended period.
5) For personal safety, wear bright clothing and reflectors when walking day and night. It helps drivers see you better.
